Was Megawomble's Senior Prize Giving thing at school this evening. He won "The Progress in English Prize". The deputy, who was announcing the prizes, said: "The last time I saw [Megawomble] in this hall, he had eaten a lot of chillies in a competition, which he won by miles. It was for charity. Complete madness!" Mega thought this earned far more recognition than the English prize. Wonder if he should put both on his university application form next year? He also holds the school record for pizza eating......The photo is from my phone, it'll do.

Apparently, it was 20 chillis. The competition was called to a halt as the staff were fearing for the boys' health/safety/sanity! However, Mega was a long way in the lead!

Standards are improving, apparently. Best results ever, so the Head told us :o)
