The last few weekends have almost seemed like we're test-driving children to see which combination we like best! Ok, so we've tried all five on a Saturday about three times now. A fortnight ago we took just one (Miniwomble) to the Lakes for the Forum Weekend. Last week, thought we'd swap the wombles to Sunday for a change. This weekend, we were down to two mini-BFs (Midi and Mini), Megawomble and an abbreviated Miniwomble (late arrival due to sleepover early departure because she had to shop for a top for school drama production). That was yesterday and it was just the mini-BFs today. Not sure which I prefer, will have to keep testing........

What I will say though, is they're all lovely in their own ways. Minor success on the food front this weekend. Managed to cook two meals that the mini-BFs simply hoovered off their plates! And Miniwomble and Mini-BF cooked the Xmas cake. That was while Megawomble and Midi-BF erected my temporary 'glass'house to look after my garden plants through the winter. I've a nasty feeling that last weekend would have seen more survivors as it's been a tad cold this last few days. Oh well. It was a good team effort by the boys anyhow - a variation on Ikea without instructions. They'll appreciate the training later in life!

Tis quiet now, Sunday evening. Everyone has gone away again. However, one special person will be coming home on Thursday.
