Right: I've just had a fab holiday. You're probably off work and going to enjoy the next few days, eating a bit too much, visiting friends and family, giving and receiving presents, generally having a time of excess. Why not take a few minutes to remember those less fortunate? Those who might not be spending time with family because they've lost touch or were thrown out. Those who suddenly don't have a place to stay because the spare room or the couch is in use by a visiting relative. Those whose hostel has shut down over Xmas. Those in b&b. Those from an accession country who've found that the streets of London aren't quite paved with gold. Those in that doorway you pass on the way to Doggetts once a month. Yes, the people known as "homeless" or "hidden homeless". I'll be off to Crisis Open Christmas this Saturday. If you'd like to volunteer too, it's never too late just go to the website or contact me.
